Define the steering kit before comparing price
A tie rod kit can mean one outer end, an inner rack end, or a complete axle set. Gerui structures the request around a clear bill of materials so suppliers quote the same product scope.
Possible kit contents
- Two outer tie rod ends
- Two inner tie rods or rack ends
- Two steering rack boots
- Boot clamps, lock nuts, washers, or other applicable hardware
The included quantity, left/right usage, and hardware are stated for every quotation. A generic product title does not define a complete kit.
Fitment inputs required
- Vehicle make, platform, build year and month, and chassis code
- Australian RHD or other steering configuration
- 2WD or 4WD and steering-rack type where relevant
- OE number or existing supplier reference
- Inner and outer threads, stud taper, and measured lengths when available
Supplier evidence requested
We request the application source, OE relationship, drawing, critical dimensions, ball-pin and socket information, boot material, grease, current product photos, labelled kit BOM, test or inspection records, batch mark, packaging, weights, MOQ, and claims process.
Initial vehicle programs
The first validation scope covers Toyota Hilux N80, Ford Ranger PX, Toyota Hilux N70, Toyota Prado J150, and Mitsubishi Triton MQ/MR. Each platform has unresolved branches; no tie rod kit is approved from platform name alone.
Commercial comparison
Prices are comparable only when OE branch, application, dimensions, kit contents, packaging, quantity, and trade term match. A displayed single-piece price is not compared with a complete four-piece or six-piece kit.
